Tansen, Akbar's court musician was Swami Haridas's disciple in classical Indian music.

The two merging with each other Radha and Krishna created ocean of Ragas that is ‘Shri Bihariji’. The couple turned itself into one single black charming idol, the same one that you see in the temple today.

The attraction and beauty of Shri Banke Bihariji is the only reason why the ‘darshan’ in the temple is never continuous and stoped by curtain drawn on him regularly. It is also said that if one watch long enough into the eyes of Shri Banke Bihariji, the person would be unconsciousness by Power of heavenly Looks .
